The Teleline Isolator provides high voltage special protection at the highest possible level of communication reliability, so that signals get through. It accommodates all types of communication services. This unique combination of safety, reliability, and service is achieved by the use of two distinctive technology; passive and active.

An active optical isolation design deploys fiber-optic couplers that facilitate bi-directional communications for both voice and switching information. Passive technology uses Positron’s state of the art isolation transformer for dedicate two or four wire circuits, these two technologies are specifically designed for their respective service applications while providing a protection level of 90 kV lightning surge and 50 kV ms (70 kV peak).

The Teleline isolator breaks the copper continuity of the telephone line as it enters a high voltage environment, eliminating the conductive bridge between the Central Office (CO) and the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) at the high voltage location.

Teleline Isolator equipment is modular in design, permiting the selection of only those components needed for particular application.
